A good skin care tip is to exfoliate your face. Exfoliate your dry or sensitive skin one, two or even three times weekly; less than that will cause you to lose the chance to expose flourishing skin under your top layer of skin. Exfoliating helps to clear away dead skin and other debris.

When you nail polish starts to thicken up, you can add a few drops of nail polish remover to the bottle to thin it. Shake the bottle well after the addition of the nail polish remover to mix thoroughly and continue your manicure as usual. You should be able to get several more applications from the bottle.

Baking soda is a great method to restore the shininess to your hair. Simply put a little bit of baking soda in the shampoo you will use. Then you just wash it out of your hair as you would usually do. This will make your hair shine.

Splashing cold water on your face can help reduce the frequency and prevalence of pimples. This is because it shrinks the size of your pores, making it less likely and less possible for them to get clogged, and clogging usually results in the appearance of a pimple. So to keep yourself pimple free, splash cold water!

To deal with greasy or oily hair, shampoo every other day and just rinse with water on the other days. Sometimes people with oily hair try to combat the problem by over using shampoo. This removes to much oil from hair, which makes the sebaceous glands overcompensate to replace it.

Always curl your eyelashes using an eyelash curler prior to the application of mascara. This increases their perceived length and brightens your eyes. Start at the lash base and squeeze the curler, and then hold it just a second. Move the curler out, and reapply the pressure. This gives a nice natural curve.

Try to steer clear of taking baths or showers that are too hot. Hot water urges pores to open, and then natural oils escape. Then these oils get washed away which will make your skin dry and unhealthy. Using warm water instead will keep your skin healthy and soft. You’ll also save money on your electric bill.

To give your hair more volume, consider trying a new haircut with layers. Layers are one of the most effective ways to add volume to fine limp hair. Even if you like to wear your hair long, you can still have your stylist cut long layers into the top for a major volume boost.
